Job OverviewManager, Fire Protection Engineering – San Diego, Utah, United States. The role reports to the Team Leader in San Diego and leads a technical team of up to 8 contributors in the Fire and Building Safety service line, focusing on staff engagement and career development.
Responsibilities- Drive a positive and healthy team culture, promoting employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Maintain strong client relationships and manage client expectations through clear communication.
- Lead technical design and consulting projects, implementing best‑in‑class service processes.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain top talent, coaching staff to grow technical and business skills.
- Collaborate with regional leadership to execute company strategies and support business development activities.
- Minimum 5 years of technical consulting experience with a history of client relationship development.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Well‑rounded knowledge of fire protection engineering fundamentals.
- Professional designation desirable (e.g., Professional Engineering License).
- Demonstrated leadership, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills.
Competitive total rewards package including retirement plan, healthcare coverage, and additional benefits. National pay range: $131,000–$178,000 USD.
