Technical Support Engineer

Overview

• Fully unleash your technical knowledge on our products in combination with your customer-oriented enthusiasm.
• Be in close contact with both our customers and colleagues from different teams.
• Be part of our Basalte support team by constantly supplying product support. You are an important link between engineering, production and our customers.

You are responsible for:

• Advising customers regarding the use of our products.
• The follow-up of questions or problems from customers in a structured and professional manner.
• Participating in Beta testing with the product development team and provide feedback, test reports, documentation and manual reviews.
• Providing training to customers in your role as a product technical specialist.
• Working on demo set-ups and participating in trade shows on a product-technical level.

• Have a bachelor s degree (beneficial in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science or similar) and preferably at least two years of experience in a customer‑oriented environment.
• Have professional experience installing and troubleshooting home automation and IoT products.
• Be technically skilled and able to transfer that knowledge to customers.
• Be a driven problem solver and enjoy collaborating to find the best solution.
• Have a sense of initiative, stress resistant and know how to organize and manage multiple tasks.
• Work independently and with a team.
