bioMérieux is looking to strengthen its industrial capacity to serve its clients by developing its product range at the LaBalme-les-Grottes site. The pursuit of pioneering projects at the LaBalme site offers concrete professional development opportunities in an innovative and international environment.

To support the growth of our team and develop our expertise, we are looking for our future VIE 12 Months USA Salt Lake City – Production Methods Engineer.

This position will be based in the USA in Salt Lake City for 12 months as part of a VIE program, starting in June 2026, with a long‑term projection at the La Balme site.

• Define and prepare production areas to manufacture test batches and validation batches.
• Build EVRPs and manage mitigation actions.
• Define and implement people flows, product flows, and waste flows.
• Develop and execute test cases.
• Define and organize training plans.
• Build scheduling tools in collaboration with the Supply Chain team.
• Define, monitor, and ensure the achievement of Performance/Cost/Lead Time/Safety/Risk objectives for the Work Package, contributing to the overall project goals.

• Master’s degree (bac +5) or Engineering degree in biology or industrial/general engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial environment, in roles related to production, continuous improvement, and/or methods.
• Training or professional experience in biology is a plus.
• Key skills that will make the difference: strong analytical skills, continuous improvement mindset, and project management (analyzing existing processes to identify improvement opportunities and implementing effective solutions).
• Excellent communication skills: able to convey information clearly and effectively.
• English and French: operational proficiency, written and spoken (minimum B2).
