You're a strong team player that is highly invested in helping your customers succeed, takes pride in doing a good job, and contributes to a great company culture. You have the following knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or education:
- 2+ years in the audio-visual industry with a manufacturer, rep, or integrator
- Possesses advanced knowledge of:
- Audio, Video, Video Conference, and Control systems
- Associates Degree or equivalent level of experience
- Performs each essential duty of the position satisfactorily and in a timely manner
- A proven track record of project management success
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to self-motivate and self-manage time to maintain project timelines, benchmarks, and deadlines
- Basic computer skills including common applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Advanced construction/handy-person skills. Understanding of tools and ways to professionally install hardware
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel as needed
Our ideal candidate would have the following preferred requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Limited Energy Electrician License
- PMP certification
- Certified in installing copper and fiber optic infrastructures
- 3+ years experience in the AV installation or Telecom Cabling industry
- May have had previous experience under the job titles of:
Install Technician Level 2, Cabling Team Lead, AV Field Engineer or Cabling Foreman - Entry level knowledge of AV and Wireless systems design, operation, and installation
- Formal training in cable installation and termination
- A/V manufacture certifications such as: CTS-I or CTS-D – NSCA or Cedia
