About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager on a fixed term of 10 months to lead the Nuton Facility Project. The Project team is a multi-disciplinary team of technical SMEs and project support functions accountable for delivering the design, execution plan, operational readiness plan and construction of the Nuton Facility throughout 2026. This facility will include:

* Laboratory space for completing proprietary Nuton testwork

* Data and networking infrastructure to support proprietary Nuton modelling and analytics capabilities

* Office work space for other Nuton teams.

The project manager must have extensive experience in effectively managing studies and projects through all phases, leading the project from design to completion of construction.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Project leadership, management, and coordination across a wide range of technical and functional disciplines contributing to the study

* Preparing PM deliverables including project execution plan and scope book

* Managing the project scope, cost and schedule.

* Resource allocation, schedule and budget management

* Coordinate and seamlessly integrate multiple stakeholders

* Provide project development subject matter expertise in a construction setting.

* Identify, evaluate and mitigate key risks during the Project and deliver on any identified opportunities

Your qualifications and experience should include:

* A proven safety-first mindset to personal and team safety.

* A bachelor's degree in Process or Chemical Engineering (a master's degree is preferred).

* A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Science, Business or other relevant discipline

* Proven leadership experience in project management across study and implementation phases

* Strong influencing and negotiation skills and strategic vision

* Experience in controlling cost and budget of complex projects

* Risk management skills and commercial awareness

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills

* An ability to effectively liaise with external and internal stakeholders

* Experience in working within rapidly changing contextual environments and ability to challenge the status quo to drive superior outcomes
