As a key member of the Operations team, the Manufacturing Engineer I will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new and improved manufacturing equipment and processes for medical devices.

About the Role:

• Design and develop new and improved manufacturing equipment using CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Support the implementation of new equipment into the manufacturing process.
• Execute, document, and support the line validation/qualification activities, including IQ, OQ, PQ, MSA, and generation of work instructions and control plans.
• Research, analyze, and present opportunities for improvement to manufacturing processes.
• Participate in Design for Assembly (DFA) / Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities to verify manufacturability of Product Designs.

• 1+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing/Production Engineer;
  Medical Devices or Military industry experience required
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Lean manufacturing experience with knowledge of lean manufacturing methods and procedures
• Knowledge of DFM/DFA
• Knowledge of CAD software, electromechanical design, and other engineering tools
• Experience with Manufacturing Quality and Product Development

• Experience with automation and robotics
• Experience with regulatory compliance, specifically ISO
  13485
