Engineer Senior

Overview

Responsible for the strategic design, planning, execution, control & monitoring of Business & Customer Solutions deployed through Operations. Orchestrate and lead project and product deployment activities by applying industrial design engineering and project management discipline in meeting Deluxe's desired outcomes in delighting customers internally and externally.

• Manage the product quality design and deployment controls through the required stages to ensure core business needs are understood, documented, communicated, and that success criteria of the deliverables are the foundation of expectations of the launch, transparent to the business partners - either supporting or depending upon the outcomes of the deployment activity.
• Strategically partner with Product Management, Operations Strategic Sourcing and Supply Management in the development of product quality design controls and deployment options. Set direction on technical elements of product manufacturability, orchestrating the quality design of operations product launch, test, and control monitoring plans.
• Accountable for deployment planning and scheduling controls of roll‑out to all impacted areas. Create and manage the overall deployment plan, schedule, resources, and communication including when the various sites and business units are ready, and coordinate deployment timelines and interdependencies with multiple business units.
• Orchestrate the quality design control for technical quality elements of product manufacturability as outlined in engineering specifications with an eye to cost of quality objectives. Lead product quality deployment by applying engineering discipline in meeting Deluxe's desired outcomes in delighting customers internally and externally.
• Manages large and oversees medium/small deployment projects.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s in engineering plus 3 years’ experience or 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or product and materials setup.

• Understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods
• Good knowledge of engineering concepts, product process management
• Print technology experience

Education:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Product, Industrial, Quality or Lean Experience or 5+ years of manufacturing, equipment and product experience. Demonstrated technical leadership managing products to market, specialized focus on product development and manufacturability. Experience leading teams of professionals in the deployment of medium scale programs requiring with complexity.

The compensation range for this position is $95,000.00 – $ annually. This position will be eligible for an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
