We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to drive the next chapter of our operational excellence. This role goes beyond day‑to‑day support, leading strategic, high‑impact initiatives. It’s ideal for an engineer who thrives on driving change, implementing automation, and delivering solutions that make a tangible difference on the production floor.

• Complete projects, report status, and document lessons efficiently. Utilize project management tools to establish timelines, build action‑item lists, assign responsibility, set completion dates, and achieve milestones.
• Lead flawless launch activities and solicit active participation in feasibility meetings, FMEA, DFM, part‑print review, tool design review, and kaizen events using cross‑functional teams.
• Provide timely support to the quoting team in determining the most efficient manufacturing methods and tool design concepts for competitive, prompt RFQ responses.
• Interface with the sales team and customers to clearly define requirements and specifications.
• Develop and implement new processes, tooling, and manufacturing concepts, working closely with vendors to meet customer expectations for cost, quality, and delivery.
• Execute validation and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) protocols for new products, equipment, tooling, and processes, and follow SOPs for re‑validation of existing systems.
• Provide technical assistance and engineering support to the manufacturing floor, ensuring quality production and on‑time delivery while working with Quality Control to maintain and implement project‑related documentation such as work instructions, control plans, and process guides.
• Lead process improvement and waste elimination efforts through Lean principles and participate in continuous improvement events.

• Bachelor of science in a related engineering field from a four‑year college or university.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in the Medical Device Industry.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Minitab (or other statistical analysis software).
• 3+ years of experience in CAD modeling, ideally with Solid Works or a similar system, and experienced with Windows‑based applications such as Visual ERP.

• Technical Design & Automation Integration:
  Applies advanced engineering principles to design and implement automated systems and tooling, proficient in CAD modeling and translating operational needs into technical specifications.
• Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement:
  Identifies inefficiencies across molding, extrusion, and assembly operations; applies lean methodologies to streamline processes and improve overall production performance.
• Cross‑functional Collaboration & Communication:
  Partners effectively with internal teams and external vendors to align project goals, share updates, and drive consensus throughout the project lifecycle.
