OverviewSeeking an Electrical Engineer to provide hands‑on electrical and electronic engineering expertise in support of device research, development, and delivery. This role focuses on designing, evaluating, and supporting electronic systems using sound engineering principles and modern development tools, while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure robust, manufacturable designs.
Job Duties- Provide electrical and electronic engineering technical expertise across device research, development, and delivery.
- Develop device design concepts based on sound engineering principles using current engineering tools and technologies.
- Perform schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB layout for electronic designs.
- Design, evaluate, test, and troubleshoot electronic circuits and components.
- Develop detailed design and interface specifications for software engineering and cross‑functional teams.
- Support delivery and device R&D activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Partner with manufacturing, contract developers, and quality teams to ensure robust, manufacturable designs.
- Support testing activities, including design verification and validation.
- Provide design‑related input and technical recommendations to senior management to support project decisions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including technical reports, work instructions, development plans, and change control and design control documentation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong foundation in electrical and electronic circuit design.
- Experience with schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB layout tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electronic systems and components.
- Hands‑on experience with EMC/EMI testing and compliance is preferred.
- Experience supporting products through manufacturing and validation is preferred.
- Experience working in regulated or structured product development environments is preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
