Process Development & Scale-Up Engineer – Nutraceuticals

North of Salt Lake City, UT — Full-time, permanent position with a client of Driggs Search International.

Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr. Additional compensation:
Annual Bonus.

• Lead the scale-up and technology transfer of formulations and processes to manufacturing.
• Optimize production processes for efficiency, quality, and consistency.
• Partner with manufacturing and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
• Perform data analysis, root cause investigations, and implement process control strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across multiple dosage forms, including tablets, capsules, powders, and softgels.
• Manage technology transfer projects with external co-manufacturing partners, ensuring on-time and successful commercialization.
• Stay current with regulatory and industry standards to ensure compliance and best practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in supplement formulation, process development, and manufacturing scale-up.
• OR a Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience in the same areas.
• Proven expertise with Quality by Design, process control strategies, and GMP standards.
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience working with consumer products is highly desirable.
