The Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training at the University of Utah is seeking a reliable and organized work‑study student to support continuing education programs. This position provides hands‑on administrative experience in a professional academic setting and plays a key role in the successful delivery of continuing education courses for healthcare professionals.
This is not a remote position.
The selected candidate must be able to be on‑site in Salt Lake City multiple times per semester and available for occasional weekend work.
Responsibilities- Provide administrative support for department continuing education programs
- Post continuing education courses to the department website
- Assist with social media advertising and promotion of courses
- Maintain and track course registrations
- Monitor and manage the continuing education email inbox, organizing messages and directing questions to appropriate faculty members
- Prepare and distribute certificates of completion to registered participants
- Be on‑site at the Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training building approximately 6 weekends per year to assist with organizing and implementing continuing education courses
