Literacy Coordinator, Alpha

Overview

On-campus position in Chantilly (Washington), VA;
San Francisco, CA; or New York City, NY. Annual compensation of $120,000, distributed weekly. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage begins day one. Relocation assistance provided.

• Conduct adaptive reading workshops focused on building core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension.
• Create personalized engagement sessions that resonate with children and foster enduring enthusiasm for reading.
• Review student performance metrics to iteratively improve your methods and generate practical recommendations.
• Collaborate with the technology team to assess and refine AI-based literacy platforms.

• Implementing pre-packaged curricula or publisher-provided scope-and-sequence frameworks.

• Cultivate a passion for reading in early-stage learners.

• Bachelor's degree
• Master's degree or specialized certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or comparable credential)
• Minimum of 2 years' experience providing small-group reading intervention to students in early elementary grades
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate reading proficiency, organize student groups, and create differentiated instruction independently of pre-written materials
• Comfortable using AI/adaptive learning platforms and adjusting instruction based on student interaction patterns
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
• Prepared to work on-site at one of our locations:

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. For details, see
