On-site position in San Francisco, CA or Miami, FL. This is a full-time, on-site role with relocation assistance available for planning to move.

Alpha has demonstrated that 5-year-olds can learn core academic content more efficiently with the right coaching approach. Our K-2 learners complete core academic content in only 2 hours daily through AI-driven adaptive technology. Your role is not to teach traditional lessons—it is to coach. You will facilitate dynamic life skills sessions, inspire children to reach their learning targets, and cultivate the mindset and routines essential for long-term success.

• Facilitating one-hour life skills sessions with K-2 learners, providing coaching and reinforcing literacy concepts introduced by Reading Specialists
• Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning platforms and meet their weekly academic targets
• Guiding emotional regulation, resilience, and critical thinking through consistent routines and genuine care
• Monitoring student development and requirements, identifying concerns proactively, and refining approaches in partnership with your team
• Building a classroom environment that balances structure, energy, and individualized attention

Student Success Coach key responsibilities

• Must be available to work full-time and on-site at our Miami, FL or San Francisco, CA campus
• Bachelor s degree from any discipline
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with children ages 4–8 in educational settings, after school programs, coaching roles, or comparable contexts
• Captivating storyteller and dynamic presenter: capable of engaging and sustaining the focus of young children in group settings
• Capacity to maintain elevated expectations for both yourself and students, and motivate children to accomplish their objectives
• Growth-oriented mindset and receptiveness to coaching
• Legal authorization to work in the US without need for sponsorship

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
