Spanish Teacher (Part-time)
Candidates should have a minimum of two years' experience, preferably in a formal high school setting. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is encouraged but not required. Candidates must demonstrate an enduring love of youth, a love of teaching and learning, and a desire to work in a faith-based atmosphere aligned with values taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Successful candidates will also demonstrate strong communication and classroom management skills, high energy, experience in preparing and delivering daily lesson plans, experience establishing and communicating clear learning objectives, the ability to use a variety of pedagogical methods, and willingness to learn. Candidates should be professional in appearance and demeanor.
- 10–15 hours per week, from 12:30–3:30 PM
- Teach both middle school and high school students
- Teach Levels 1–3 Spanish classes
- Minimum two years of relevant teaching experience (preferably in high school settings)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent encouraged but not required
- Ability to demonstrate strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to prepare and deliver daily lesson plans and communicate clear learning objectives
- Willingness to use a variety of pedagogical methods and to learn
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Experience in a faith-based atmosphere aligned with Church values is desirable
- Candidates are expected to uphold the school's Mission, Honor Code, and Diversity Statement on and off-campus
- Position available beginning with the 2026–2027 school year
