Teaching Assistant – Teaching & Learning
Join the University of Utah Health Research as a Teaching Assistant in the Hybrid Graduate Level Course (PHTH 7100 – Teaching & Learning). This part‑time role requires 5–10 hours per week during the spring semester (January–April).
Responsibilities- Assist the course lead with preparation of live session materials.
- Grade assignments, provide feedback, and coordinate breakout rooms and Zoom organization.
- Review and update course materials, and prepare materials for the following year.
- Participate in weekly team meetings as needed for coordination.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Responsive to email and text communication.
- Average to above‑average proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canvas, and Zoom.
- Student status at the University of Utah, with availability for the spring semester.
Eligible new hires may elect to enroll in Utah Retirement Systems (URS). The position may require a criminal background check and/or drug screen.
