Academic Multi-specialty Radiologists Assistant, Associate or Full Professor

Overview

The University of Utah Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is actively seeking radiologists to join the Section Multi-specialty X (MSX). We offer a supportive, collaborative environment with on-site and remote coverage using a state-of-the-art PACS system. Evening and overnight clinical coverage options are available to provide flexible scheduling. You will have opportunities to engage in cutting-edge clinical research, contribute to advancements in the field, participate in professional societies, and, depending on academic experience and leadership potential, be considered for departmental leadership roles.

You will also teach residents and fellows and collaborate with colleagues from diverse specialties.

• Provide high-quality clinical radiology services with flexibility for onsite and remote coverage.
• Engage in teaching residents and fellows to foster the growth of the next generation of radiologists.
• Participate in clinical research and contribute to advancements in radiology.
• Collaborate with colleagues across specialties and participate in professional societies.
• Pursue departmental leadership opportunities as appropriate based on experience and potential.

• Certified or eligible by the American Board of Radiology (or equivalent) with subspecialty fellowship training.
• Strong passion for innovative clinical services and radiology education.
• Exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Eligible to obtain a physician license in the state of Utah.

The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at the University of Utah provides clinical services across multiple facilities, including University Hospital, Huntsman Cancer Hospital, and community clinics in Utah. The department supports residency programs in Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology, with residents participating in daytime, evening, and overnight shifts. The department has advanced imaging resources including multiple 3T MRIs, dual-energy CTs, intraoperative MRI, MR-guided focused ultrasound, PET-CT, and a large imaging research laboratory with three 3T MRI scanners.

We also offer leadership programs and professional development opportunities as part of the University of Utah Health Sciences.
