Overview

The University of Utah, Department of Dermatology, seeks an allergy/immunology physician on a clinical track to join a two-allergist, >40 dermatologist practice. The ideal candidate is board certified in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics and in Allergy/Immunology. The clinic provides a full-service outpatient allergy/immunology program, including spirometry, skin testing, sinus endoscopy, immunotherapy and drug desensitization. The center offers oral immunotherapy for food allergy outside of the research setting and participates in clinical trials and NIH-funded research.

Two to three medical assistants per MD support efficient clinical workflow. The dermatology infrastructure supports opportunities for innovation, superb patient-centered service, research, and growth.

• Join a two-allergist, >40 dermatologist practice in a full-service outpatient allergy/immunology clinic.
• Provide care for both adult and pediatric patients as appropriate; pediatric-only practice may be considered for the right candidate.
• Offer clinical services including spirometry, skin testing, sinus endoscopy, immunotherapy and drug desensitization.
• Participate in ongoing clinical trials and NIH-funded research programs related to allergy/immunology and related fields.
• Collaborate with dermatology and other departments to support comprehensive patient-centered care and clinical innovation.
• Maintain high-quality clinical care with attention to service excellence and patient experience.

• Board certification in Allergy/Immunology.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics.
• Ability to see both children and adults; pediatric-only practice considered for the right candidate.
• Strong clinical care and references from a leading allergy/immunology institution preferred.
• Flexible scheduling; salary competitive with private practice.

Clinic is located in Murray, UT (contiguous with Salt Lake City) in a state-of-the-art, two-year-old building with views of the Wasatch mountains. Salt Lake City offers outdoor activities and rapid access to amenities; the University of Utah is near downtown Salt Lake City and near foothills for recreation.
