Vascular Surgeon
The Division of Vascular Surgery at the University of Utah is seeking a full-time board certified/eligible Vascular Surgeon beginning in Spring/Summer 2026. Appointment will be at an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level in either a Clinical or Tenure Track commensurate with the candidate’s experience.
The Division currently includes 7 faculty members who provide care at University Hospital, Primary Children’s Hospital, and Huntsman Cancer Institute, serving patients throughout the Intermountain West and more than 10 percent of the continental US.
Clinical responsibilities will include open and endovascular surgery, limb salvage procedures, deep/superficial venous interventions, and teaching of vascular surgery fellows, residents, and medical students. The candidate will also engage in a 2‑year Vascular Surgery Fellowship (5+2) and a new vascular residency program.
An academic focus is required. The Division has extensive infrastructure for clinical trials, health services/outcomes research, global surgery research, translational investigation, and participation in Vascular Quality Initiative registries. The candidate will collaborate with two full‑time research coordinators and access to research databases and statistical support.
