Overview
The Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Utah School of Medicine is seeking to fill a full-time faculty position for an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, track and rank dependent on qualifications. This position will integrate with our inpatient PM&R physicians, consult team and also work closely with rehab hospital access staff. This position will develop strong relationships with acute care service lines including, neurosurgery, neurology, trauma, and orthopaedics.
Additional inpatient, outpatient, and leadership opportunities are available.
- Board certification is required.
- Specialty training is preferred.
- Applicants should have strong academic interests in pursuing advancement in research, clinical and/or teaching.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
- Integrate with inpatient PM&R physicians and consult team.
- Collaborate with rehab hospital access staff and develop relationships with acute care service lines (neurosurgery, neurology, trauma, orthopaedics).
- Engage in additional inpatient, outpatient, and leadership activities as available.
Located in the heart of Salt Lake City, UT, with abundant recreational, cultural and educational opportunities. The University of Utah is a large tertiary/qua ternary academic medical center in the Intermountain West.
