Overview
The Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes, with the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking a dynamic, patient-focused, compassionate clinical physician specializing in Obesity Medicine to join our expanding comprehensive weight management program at the University of Utah. Responsibilities include providing direct outpatient care for patients with obesity and obesity related conditions, developing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that incorporate behavioral, nutritional, pharmacologic, and bariatric surgical therapies.
This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team that includes other specialists, dietitians, psychologists, exercise physiologist, and surgeons. In addition to clinical care, this physician will have the opportunity to contribute to program development, quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, community outreach, and educational activities.

Candidates must have ABIM or ABFM certification, have obesity training, ideally with fellowship training and board certification in obesity medicine from the American Board of Obesity Medicine and must be eligible for a medical license in the State of Utah.
