Overview
The Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies at the University of Utah’s Huntsman Cancer Institute is seeking to recruit clinical faculty. The division currently has 36 full‑time faculty members engaged in several subspecialties and is involved in clinical, translational, and basic research in hematology.
Huntsman Cancer Institute is the only NCI‑designated Cancer Center in the Intermountain West. State‑of‑the‑art resources on‑site include transgenic facilities, genome‑wide scanning technologies, drug development platforms, pharmacology, and toxicology. All clinical facilities are in close proximity to laboratories in the Institute, creating a vibrant and collaborative research environment.
The mission of the Division is to provide state‑of‑the‑art diagnostics and treatment in a setting of compassionate care for patients with hematologic cancers.
Minimum Qualifications- M.D. or D.O. degree with board certification in Internal Medicine and BC/BE in Hematology
- Possessing or being eligible for a Utah Medical License
- Initiative, curiosity, and dedication to a career in academia
