As a new Full-Time Dental Assistant at Fourth Street Clinic, you can expect a dynamic and fulfilling day-to-day experience. Your responsibilities will include preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting the dentist during procedures. You ll also be welcoming patients with a friendly smile, taking x-rays, and ensuring everyone feels comfortable throughout their visit. Expect to collaborate closely with a supportive team that encourages growth and learning.

Each day will offer chances to develop your skills and expand your knowledge in dental care. Your typical schedule will be Monday through Thursday, from 8 AM to 6 PM, allowing for a great work-life balance while making a positive impact in the community!

Proficiency in dental software and tools is essential, as you ll be handling patient records and assisting with scheduling. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, including tooth numbering and surfaces.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Radiology certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and electronic health records.
• Ability to communicate clearly and provide excellent customer service.
• Compliance with HIPAA and OSHA requirements.
