Brighton Resort is looking for friendly and attentive people to join our Parking Ambassador team! Parking Ambassadors are the first to welcome guests each day, helping them find parking safely and efficiently while creating a positive start to their mountain experience. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working outdoors, being active, and making every guest feel welcome from the moment they arrive.

Parking Ambassadors are the first to welcome guests each day, helping them find parking safely and efficiently while creating a positive start to their mountain experience. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working outdoors, being active, and making every guest feel welcome from the moment they arrive.

Parking Ambassadors focus on guest service, traffic awareness, and safety while directing vehicles, assisting guests on foot, and maintaining a well-organized parking area. No prior experience is necessary — we ll provide all the training you need!

Responsibilities

As a Parking Ambassador you will contribute to Brighton s LEADS values by:

  • Prioritize Safety By
    • Greeting every guest with a positive and approachable attitude.
    • Directing traffic clearly and calmly to prevent accidents.
    • Setting up cones, signs, and barricades to create safe, organized parking areas.
  • Serve First By
    • Greeting every rider with a friendly, approachable presence, offering clear loading and unloading instructions, and helping guests feel confident and comfortable on the lift.
    • Helping guests unload gear when appropriate and pointing them toward the lodge, lifts, and services.
    • Acting as a Brighton ambassador, answering questions and giving directions.
  • Show That Attitude Is Everything By
    • Staying positive and composed in all weather conditions and high-traffic situations.
    • Maintaining a welcoming presence that sets the tone for the guest s day.
  • Deliver Excellence In Execution By
    • Directing cars efficiently to maximize parking space and reduce congestion.
    • Keeping walkways, loading zones, and pedestrian areas clear and safe.
    • Assisting with snow removal, signage placement, and traffic flow adjustments as conditions change.
  • Think Long Term By
    • Keeping parking areas safe, organized, and functional all season through consistent attention and care.
    • Noticing recurring issues and sharing feedback to improve parking operations.
  • Develop Great People By
    • Supporting teammates by communicating clearly during busy times.
    • Coordinating with other departments such as Guest Services, Safety, and Lift Operations to provide smooth experiences
Qualifications

This position may be for you if you:

  • You're 16 years of age or older
  • Have or are working towards a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Can lift 35 lbs and push/pull 50 lbs unassisted
  • Are comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions for long periods
  • Can stand and move on your feet for extended shifts
  • Have strong communication skills and a focus on safety and guest service
  • Can stay attentive and focused on surroundings for extended periods without distraction
  • Are committed to following safety procedures and addressing hazards immediately
  • Want to work with teammates from diverse backgrounds
  • Are available to work holidays and peak periods
  • Have a passion for the outdoors
  • Can reliably get to and from the resort in various weather conditions
  • Have a positive attitude and enjoy helping others
Preferred
  • Experienced in outdoor, traffic control, or safety-focused roles
  • Have hospitality, recreation, or guest service experience
