As a Customer Service Representative, you will be a part of a team that desires to promote a positive, elevated customer experience with a focus on driving sales. Your goal will be to deliver a best-in-class customer experience by demonstrating the ability to connect with the customer, educate them on the features and benefits that make KÜHL® unique.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Consistently deliver high-quality support through messaging, email, and phone by following established practices and processes
- Provide timely assistance with customer requests with clear, helpful information about products and orders
- Use critical thinking and creative problem-solving to navigate grey areas, de‑escalate issues with professionalism and empathy, and deliver solutions that balance customer needs with company guidelines
- Utilize software, databases, and tools appropriately to assist customer needs
- Brand ambassadors – represent KÜHL in a positive way, staying up to date on product knowledge and industry trends to build brand awareness
- Proactively identify and suggest product solutions that engage and excite customers, elevating their overall experience
- Contribute to a culture of innovation by bringing creative ideas and solutions to improve customer experience, streamline processes, and enhance team efficiency
- Accept coaching and implement feedback to support continuous improvement, build trust within the team, and contribute to both individual growth and team success
- Ability to thrive in an in‑office team environment with reliable attendance and punctuality
- Maintain a polite, helpful, and professional manner at all times
- Excellent verbal and written communication with a passion for people
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Highly motivated self‑starter who can work independently or in a team environment
- Positive attitude and a “no task is too small mentality”
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service role
- Experience in managing customer interactions across multiple channels, including phone, email, and chat
- Involves sitting for long periods of time with occasionally standing or walking
- Frequent alpha/numeric keyboarding
- Ability to view a computer for a long period of time
- Requires the ability to communicate clearly and effectively by phone and in writing
- Generally not required, lifting, and carrying up to 10 pounds
