We are hiring a Social Media Marketing Specialist to own day-to-day organic social media execution across all company social channels and executive profiles. This role is hands-on and in-person, focused on creating, editing, publishing, and managing social content
, with a strong emphasis on short-form video.
You will work closely with the Marketing Director on strategy execution and collaborate directly with the Chief Business Officer to create and manage content for her social media profiles, while concurrently supporting all company social channels.
This role is for someone who enjoys creating content, editing video, engaging with audiences, and managing multiple social platforms end-to-end.
What You’ll DoContent Creation & Video Editing
- Create social media content from scratch for all platforms
- Record, create, and edit short-form video for Tik Tok, Instagram Reels, You Tube Shorts, Facebook, and Linked In
- Edit talking-head videos with clean cuts, pacing, captions, hooks, subtitles, emojis, and light graphics
- Create Tik Tok-native content and trend-based videos
- Design social graphics and simple flyers using Canva
Publishing, Scheduling & Calendar Management
- Post and schedule content across all company social media channels
- Post and manage content for the Chief Business Officer’s social media profiles
- Maintain and organize a social content calendar
- Ensure consistent posting across multiple brands and platforms
Community & Reputation Management
- Monitor and respond to comments across all social platforms
- Manage messages and inquiries through DMs and Messenger
- Post updates and manage responses on Google Business Profile
- Respond to Google reviews professionally and on-brand
- Flag sales-related inquiries or recurring feedback internally
Trends, Ideas & Collaboration
- Stay current on organic social media trends, especially Tik Tok and Reels
- Proactively suggest content ideas, hooks, and formats
- Work closely with the Marketing Director to execute strategy
- Collaborate directly with the Chief Business Officer on content creation
- Assist with filming and guiding on-camera content for team members and executives
- 1–3+ years of proven experience creating and editing short-form social video
- Strong understanding of Tik Tok, Instagram, and organic social trends
- Experience with Cap Cut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar tools
- Comfortable using Canva for graphics and social assets
- Experience managing multiple social media platforms and accounts
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in-person and directly with leadership
- Portfolio of short-form video content required
