As our company grows, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Project Assistant to join our team and play a key role in our continued success.

As a Project Assistant, you will be responsible for accurately estimating materials, labor, and costs for flooring scopes of work on large-scale multifamily construction projects. Your ability to interpret construction documents and work closely with vendors, project managers, and general contractors will help ensure bids are competitive, accurate, and aligned with our company standards.

• Estimate Preparation:
  Review architectural plans and specifications to prepare accurate takeoffs and pricing for flooring scopes (LVT, carpet, tile, etc.).
• Bid Coordination:
  Compile and submit bids on time, ensuring all necessary inclusions and exclusions are clearly outlined.
• Vendor & Supplier Interaction:
  Request quotes, manage vendor relationships, and stay current on product pricing and availability.
• Quantity Takeoffs:
  Perform detailed material quantity takeoffs using digital takeoff software.
• Cost Analysis:
  Evaluate project-specific costs and labor to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
• Client Communication:
  Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, and developers to clarify scope and address bid-related questions.
• Value Engineering:
  Identify cost-saving alternatives without compromising quality or schedule.
• Bid Follow-Up:
  Track submitted bids and follow up to determine bid status or gather feedback.
