- Assist Estimating in bidding opportunities and Preconstruction services
- Assist Project Manager in development of Chart of Accounts
- Assist in development of detailed CPM Schedule
- Assist in development of Detailed Scope of Work
- Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents
- Manage Jacobsen's labor force to achieve optimum performance
- Review and understand material budgets and negotiate purchase orders
- Review and understand equipment budgets and negotiate rental rates
- Monitor project costs and identify areas for improvement
- Provide leadership in quality process
- Provide leadership in the safety/M.A.C.H.O program
- Document daily construction activities
- Chair weekly subcontractor coordination meetings
- Issue and maintain short term schedules
- Assist Project Engineers in Shop Drawing and Submittal process
- Verify that As‑Built drawings are kept current
- Maintains a relentless focus on meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations.
- Builds business with current customers by delivering on our promises and creates new business with potential customers in a proactive manner, promoting all of our construction services.
- Builds effective relationships with customers, design team, subcontractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support company core values and meets or exceeds the customer’s expectations.
- Actively participates in industry, client, and community relations to enhance company image.

- Serves as a role model and promotes professional behavior.
- Participates in and support operations training programs and commits to the development of project staff and of self.
- Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating and safety.
- Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications.
Education & Experience
Four-year business or technical degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in the construction and/or engineering industry
