  • Prepare RFPs, contracts, bid packages, and competitive analyses; identify new suppliers that meet exacting standards for cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Develop and steward long‑term vendor partnerships that support resilient supply chains and negotiated advantages.
  • Research and forecast market shifts, pricing trends, and emerging product opportunities to inform strategic buying decisions.
  • Drive improvements in supplier on‑time delivery, quality assurance, lead time reduction, and end‑to‑end procurement processes.
  • Assess financial risk and operational impact of purchasing decisions with precision and clear rationale.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels aligned with production schedules and demand planning rhythms.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to identify new technologies and strategic opportunities.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Finance, and Production to ensure procurement strategy aligns with broader business needs.
  • Provide scheduling, guidance, and workflow oversight for procurement staff as needed.
  • Perform other procurement or supply chain responsibilities that support business continuity and strategic growth.
What You’ll Thrive Here If You

  • See procurement not as purchasing, but as a strategic lever for operational excellence.
  • Build trust through consistency, data, and transparent decision‑making.
  • Navigate complexity with calm, structured reasoning.
  • Hold yourself and partners to uncompromising standards of quality and delivery.
What You May Struggle Here If You
  • Prefer reactive purchasing over proactive strategy.
  • Avoid difficult negotiations or uncomfortable conversations with suppliers.
  • Rely on assumptions rather than analysis.
  • Resist documentation, process rigor, or cross‑functional alignment.
What You Bring
  • Advanced understanding of procurement strategy, supplier management, and supply chain operations.
  • Demonstrated success negotiating contracts, developing vendors, and reducing costs without compromising quality.
  • Strong analytical ability to forecast trends, assess risk, and guide decision‑making.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, procurement tools, and advanced Excel/PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational discipline, communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑moving, cross‑functional environments.
  • Willingness to travel for supplier visits, business reviews, and industry events.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management at a high‑performance organization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior procurement or supply chain staff.
  • Background in manufacturing, CPG, or similarly complex operational environments.
What We Offer
  • A culture built on exacting standards, radical transparency, and elite execution.
  • The opportunity to shape a procurement function that is foundational to the company’s long‑term success.
  • A team that values precision, accountability, and the kind of judgment that compounds over time.
