Job Summary
The David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah is seeking a full-time Administrative Program Coordinator to join the academic support team. This dynamic role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced academic setting. We are looking for someone who contributes to a collaborative environment and brings a positive and professional attitude to the team.
Responsibilities- Manage all teaching/research assistant-related processes, including searches, hiring, onboarding and off-boarding, timecard approvals and corrections, proctor requests, and email correspondence
- Data analysis and reporting related to teaching assistants' management
- Assist with faculty hiring and review processes
- Assist with some class scheduling and curriculum changes
- Process reimbursements and purchase requests for faculty
- Provide guidance to faculty regarding school and university policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned

- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), plus one year of directly related experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content.
- Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines.
- Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
- Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to evaluate processes to improve systematization and efficiencies
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Planner, and Outlook
