. This is a part-time position located in our Salt Lake City facility, which helps produce Cro Fab, an anti-venom pharmaceutical product. The role will not involve handling snakes. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys indoor work, part-time hours, and working with animals in a controlled setting.

Note: This facility produces venom for Cro Fab; the only antivenom derived from native US pit vipers to treat envenomations from all species of North American pit vipers is produced here. The role focuses on facility support and maintenance rather than snake handling.

• Upkeep of work areas and cleanliness of the site
• Washing of animal cages and water bowls
• Pulling feed cards and providing feed for animals
• Assisting with venom processing and related tasks
• Assisting the Vet Med team with assigned tasks as needed
• Performing other tasks as assigned by the Site Manager
• Orders, maintains, updates, and tracks supplies needed at the facility
• Support for administrative tasks from the Site Manager and Assistant Manager
• Managing other forms of correspondence for the site as needed
• Organization of files and records

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Science background preferred but not mandatory
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Good organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a new environment
• Flexibility and openness to taking on new tasks as needed
• Ability to take accountability for own work

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving cleaning supplies or equipment
