This is an on-site part-time role for a Society Secretary/Manager located in the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area. The Society Secretary/Manager will be responsible for administrative tasks, overseeing company secretarial work, providing executive-level administrative assistance, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role also involves maintaining effective communication with stakeholders and ensuring smooth organizational operations. This person would work with multiple societies mainly in staffing and arranging meetings.
This flex position would staff evening meetings, early morning meetings, and office work during the day but only about 10 hours per week average with some weeks requiring more time and other weeks requiring less time.
- Proficiency in Clerical Skills, including managing correspondence, schedules, and records
- Strong Communication skills to liaise with members, staff, and stakeholders effectively
- Experience in Company Secretarial Work, such as preparing minutes, organizing meetings, and maintaining official records
- Expertise in Executive Administrative Assistance and supporting senior-level management
- Excellent Customer Service skills to engage with members and address inquiries
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and the ability to adapt to new tools as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred
