Role Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, organized, and client‑service focused Cashier Receptionist / Client Associate to join our branch. This Cashier Receptionist is the first point of contact for our clients, guests and callers and is responsible for executing financial services cashiering duties as well as performing receptionist duties, and administrative support for the Branch Operations Manager and/or Branch Manager.

Duties
  • Provide a welcoming and professional attitude, courteous service at all times to ensure internal and external client satisfaction
  • Manage incoming calls and provide information as appropriate
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Branch Guide to Operations and ensure adherence to all Branch, Firm and Compliance policies, procedures, rules and regulations
  • Receive, sort and process incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence
  • Process stock certificates and check deposits, and issue and mail client checks with a high degree of accuracy
  • Follow AML and regulatory procedures
  • Maintain daily cashiering file according to established procedures
  • Assist with planning and execution of various events (such as holiday parties and client appreciation events) for the branch
  • Participate in various weekly and monthly meetings. Prepare and disseminate information to appropriate personnel as requested
  • Understand and utilize the Firm’s desktop systems and applications and their related functionality as it applies to client service and business enhancement
  • Provide backup for other support positions in the branch as assigned
  • Regular, reliable, in‑person attendance on the job is a necessary and essential function
  • Provide extraordinarily professional and courteous client service managing client requests, account maintenance and effectively articulating certain requirements in a regulatory environment
  • Review, maintain and process account documents and information as well as solve complex issues and assignments related to client accounts and transactions including suspicious activity
  • Assist in developing and implementing periodic client mailings, communications and events
  • Facilitate the transfer of client funds and/or securities and the issuance of checks upon request
  • Seek to innovate and streamline processes
  • Provide general support, including but not limited to phone, correspondence, appointments, filing and other projects as assigned
  • Adherence to all branch, firm and compliance policies, procedures, rules and regulations
  • Other projects and duties as assigned
Primary Qualifications
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), problem solving and client service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to perform semi‑advanced math
  • Previous work experience in an office setting preferred
  • Solid technology skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • High School diploma, GED or comparable work experience. Post‑Secondary education preferred
  • Proficient computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple demands and competing priorities in a deadline‑oriented environment
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and service‑oriented manner. Use appropriate, professional language and grammar to effectively exchange ideas and information
  • Ability to proactively work with both external and internal clients. Relate with others in a professional manner in order to accomplish work responsibilities and objectives
  • Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance
