Position: Accounting Payroll Specialist (Part-Time) - SLC, UT
** About the Role
** Packsize Payroll Associate – Accounting Lead to join our cohesive accounting team. You will manage the day‑to‑day payroll accounting and tax operations, ensuring all payroll, tax and benefits are reconciled properly and on time. You will help build strong vendor and team member relationships, support month‑end close audits, help facilitate process improvement, and partner across departments to keep processes running smoothly.

Your ability to be a proactive problem‑solver who takes ownership, anticipates needs, and drives results will be vital in your success in this role. You will play a key role in supporting Packsize’s innovative, problem-solving, solution-focused accounting, and HR team environment. This role reports to the Payroll Manager. is seeking a self-motivated Prepare benefits billing invoices for payment by AP Communicate any outstanding benefits needing to be captured in payroll to the payroll team for processing
* Job duties may vary depending on accounting and payroll team needs
* Knowledge of Federal, State and Local tax processes and compliance needs

Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment 2+ years of experience in Payroll, including experience with multi-jurisdictional and multi-state taxes

Experience in process improvement or automation projects is a plus

Experience with Workday, ADP Smart Compliance, SAP preferred
Reside in or near Salt Lake City, Utah, with the ability to work in the office four days per week Ability to work in an office environment; sitting for extended periods and moving about the office
