Job Description
Revenue Processing
In office only.
Responsibilities- Process operated and non-operated revenue receipts.
- Process accounts receivable (AR) receipts.
- Process revenue payments to interest owners.
- Post revenue files to Energy Link and internal portals.
- Confirm revenue receipts are accurate by reconciling payments against contractual terms and reported production volumes.
- Ensure revenue payments are reconciled and variances identified/resolved within established timelines.
- Maintain and update revenue decks, including ownership changes and interest adjustments.
- Maintain and review revenue-related agreements.
- Prepare and process revenue prior-period adjustments.
- Prepare and submit ONRR filings.
- Prepare and file severance and withholding tax reports.
- Complete other state and federal regulatory reporting as required.
- Coordinate compliance reviews with State and Federal auditors as required.
- Work closely with the Accounting Manager and Accounting Team to ensure accurate revenue reporting.
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations for revenue-related transactions.
- Identify process improvements and assist in implementing best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- 5+ years of accounting experience; oil & gas revenue accounting strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with ONRR and severance tax reporting requirements.
- Strong proficiency with accounting software and Excel; experience with Enertia Software preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
- Accuracy and thoroughness in financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Professional integrity and commitment to compliance.
- Team-oriented mindset with willingness to collaborate across functions.
