As an Accounting Specialist, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a strong foundation in various accounting functions. You will work closely with our skilled accounting team, assisting them in day-to-day tasks including financial management, data analysis, compliance procedures, and much more.

• Support the accounting team in performing daily financial transactions, such as accounts payable.
• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journal entries, general ledger entries, and account reconciliations.
• Aid in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights for management decision-making.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and cost control initiatives.
• Participate in the month-end closing processes, including assisting in the preparation of adjusting entries and supporting schedules.
• Assist with a financial statement review by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and reconciliations.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to relevant accounting principles, policies, and regulations.
• Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting practices to contribute fresh perspectives and recommendations for process improvements.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects and assignments as directed by the accounting team.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in accounting or finance.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey information clearly.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
• Professional demeanor and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
