Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure financial statements are precise and up-to-date.
- Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations to verify financial integrity and resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accurate tracking of transactions and balances.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting, including month-end close and general ledger management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, journal entries, and reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools for accurate financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work across teams.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
