Accountant - Revenue

A biopharma organization in Salt Lake City, Utah is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join their team on a long-term contract basis. The role reports to the Associate Director, Revenue, and involves recording and analyzing daily operational revenue activities to ensure compliance with GAAP, corporate policies, SOX, and external audits.

Note: This role requires onsite work for 3 or more days per week.

• Manage trade receivables cash applications
• Review sales against supporting documentation in accordance with ASC 606
• Oversee the Customer Master process (customer setup and modifications)
• Manage the Customer Price List and conduct customer credit limit reviews
• Handle order-to-cash documentation and reviews
• Perform weekly sales checks and reconciliations
• Prepare AR Aging reports
• Support related audits for the above activities
• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting processes and procedures
• Execute tasks precisely and efficiently within deadlines

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• Excellent communication, customer service, and team support skills

• Experience with large ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
• Background in biotechnology or pharmaceuticals
• Public accounting/audit experience
