Service Engineer

ReQuire Consultancy is recruiting for a market‑leading British manufacturer seeking a Service Engineer to join their existing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands‑on maintenance or engineering experience looking to move into a field‑based role with full training provided including 18th Edition electrical qualification (company funded).
You do not need to hold this already.

• Service, maintain and repair specialist equipment at customer sites
• Planned maintenance and breakdown response
• Occasional installation and commissioning work
• Manage your own schedule and van stock
• Travel mainly across the South West

• Practical engineering or maintenance experience
• Electrical, mechanical or plumbing knowledge (any combination)
• Comfortable working independently
• Good problem‑solving skills
• Full UK driving licence

Ideal backgrounds include maintenance technician, field service, facilities, mechanical fitting, plumbing, electrical mates or ex‑forces engineers.

£31,050 salary | Overtime paid at time + half (10–20 hrs/month typical) | Overnight allowance + expenses paid | Company van (private use permitted) | Paid 18th Edition qualification | 24 days holiday + bank holidays | Pension + Christmas bonus
