Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 + overtime (DOE)

Hours:

* Mon–Thurs: 9:00 – 5:30

* Friday: 9:00 – 5:00

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration / Air Conditioning Engineer to join our long-established company, working on a sensitive, site-specific MOD contract in the Salisbury area.

The role is predominantly static, focusing on the maintenance of A/C systems, chillers, and general refrigeration, with some remedial works and occasional new installations.

There is an on-call requirement of approximately 1 in 6–7 weekends, paid at time and a half. Additional overtime is available and optional, depending on the engineer’s preference.

A sign-written company van is provided.

Salary & Benefits:

* £38,000 – £45,000 salary guideline (dependent on experience, qualifications, and overall value)

* Overtime paid and optional

* On-call paid at time and a half

* Company van supplied

* Salary reviews with the aim to exceed inflation where possible

* Company-wide bonuses in good years (equal bonus for all staff, regardless of role)

Security & Compliance:

The successful candidate will need to pass MOD security clearance and hold (or be willing to obtain) the relevant skill cards and certifications.
If you do not currently hold these but have no criminal record or dubious history, we are able to support and assist you in achieving the necessary requirements.

About You:

This position would suit an experienced engineer with a stable employment history, demonstrating long-term commitment to previous employers. We are not looking for candidates who move roles every couple of years.

You should be based within approximately 30 miles of Salisbury.
