Overview

IT Infrastructure Analyst | Salisbury, Wiltshire (onsite) | Up to £50k + 15% bonus | Full-time

Having achieved 40% year-on-year growth since 2019, expanding from a specialist team to over 250 employees globally, they are looking to continue this growth in 2026. They support the UK MOD since 2012, developing best-in-class autopilots and autonomous VTOL platforms. As they lead the transition to uncrewed systems, they are hiring an IT Infrastructure Analyst to ensure their technical backbone is robust and innovative.

Role focus: securing the future of aviation by working within the IT team and reporting to the Infrastructure Lead to deploy and support critical infrastructure, much of it on-premise, including highly secure offline / air-gapped networks.

What you’ll be doing
  • Deploy and support servers, storage, applications and networks (WAN / LAN / firewalls)
  • Maintain compliance with CE+ and Secure by Design standards
  • Own operational tasks including backups, patching, disaster recovery testing and capacity management
  • Support server-based applications including CAD, software engineering tools, Jira and Git Lab
What you’ll bring
  • Strong experience deploying WAN / LAN networks, firewalls and VPNs
  • Solid Windows and Linux infrastructure experience
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization (Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker)
  • Familiarity with identity services such as Active Directory and Microsoft Entra
  • A proactive mindset with strong organisation and time management skills
Requirements
  • Must be a sole British Citizen with the ability to hold Security Clearance
  • Minimum 5 years UK residency
