Overview
Are you reliable, caring, and looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference every day? I’m a 37-year-old man with Cerebral Palsy, and I’m looking for a Personal Assistant to support me with daily living and help me enjoy the things I love most. I’m a proud Southampton FC supporter and enjoy watching matches, following fantasy football on my iPad, and going to home games at St Mary’s Stadium.
I also have a passion for trains, filming freight trains at the local station, and I love the joys of summer and Christmas.
I'm looking for someone who can provide personal care support, including showering, toileting, dressing, hoisting, and feeding. You’ll need to have a clean driving licence and be confident driving a large vehicle (Ford Tourneo Transit), as we will occasionally go on days out together. The right person will be agile, reasonably strong, and punctual, with a calm and friendly attitude. You’ll also need to be pet-friendly, as I share my home with a dog and a cat who are very much part of the family.
If you’re someone who enjoys good company, has a caring nature, and takes pride in helping others live independently and happily, then this could be the perfect role for you.
