CLINICAL DUTIES

We're seeking a vascular-trained sonographer to support both inpatient and outpatient services.

Must be confident scanning:

• Performing high-quality vascular ultrasound procedure to help in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
• Interacting with patients on a daily basis and ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures.
• Managing scheduling and workflow to ensure patient care and productivity.
• Maintaining diagnostic equipment and ensuring its proper functioning.
• Interpreting sonographic data to provide preliminary findings for physicians.
• Recording and presenting patient history and clinical data.
• Communicating effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Experience

Essential

• A recognised Degree in relevant subject or equivalent
• Appropriate post-graduate certificate/degree at master's level, or equivalent level of specialist knowledge
• The post holder must be on the HCPC Register or equivalent Voluntary Register

Desirable

• SVT Accredited Vascular Scientist
