CLINICAL DUTIES
We're seeking a vascular-trained sonographer to support both inpatient and outpatient services.
Must be confident scanning:
- Performing high-quality vascular ultrasound procedure to help in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Interacting with patients on a daily basis and ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures.
- Managing scheduling and workflow to ensure patient care and productivity.
- Maintaining diagnostic equipment and ensuring its proper functioning.
- Interpreting sonographic data to provide preliminary findings for physicians.
- Recording and presenting patient history and clinical data.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Experience
Essential
- A recognised Degree in relevant subject or equivalent
- Appropriate post-graduate certificate/degree at master's level, or equivalent level of specialist knowledge
- The post holder must be on the HCPC Register or equivalent Voluntary Register
Desirable
- SVT Accredited Vascular Scientist
