We have an amazing opportunity for you to become a Personal Assistant to our client at her home in Salisbury. She is recruiting for a full time PA to join her current team in supporting her daily living. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on somebodys life.
Pay & Benefits- Start Date: ASAP
- Pay Rate: £20 per hour
- Location: Salisbury (SP5)
This role initially covers maternity leave, and the shift pattern will change upon the incumbent's return with a slight reduction in hours.
During Maternity Leave- Week 1:
Tuesday (8am - 8pm), Wednesday (8am - 8pm), Friday (8am - 8pm) - 36 hours total - Week 2:
Tuesday (8am - 8pm), Friday (8pm - 11am), Sunday (8am-8pm) - 39 hours total - Week 3:
Monday (8am - 8pm), Wednesday (8am - 8pm), Friday (8pm - 11am) - 36 hours total - Week 4:
Tuesday (8pm - 11am), Friday (8pm - 11am), Sunday (8am - 8pm) - 42 hours total
Our client has a Spinal Cord Injury and will require support with all aspects of her life – Personal Care, Clinical Care, Day to Day running of her home and general support. She is looking for a PA who can help her enjoy life, which includes gardening, going out to different places, hosting visitors and someone who has a great get up and go attitude!
A PA with general DIY skills/knowledge would be great. Prior care experience is welcomed but not required as all training will be provided.

- You will need to be physically fit, calm, patient and caring
- Full UK driving licence (essential as you will be driving our client's adapted car)
- Have the flexibility to cover extra shifts – would be a bonus
- Fluent in the English Language
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Provide on call cover for absent colleague
- Non-Smoker / Non Vaper
- You must be able to respect our client's privacy and have an understanding of the need for confidentiality in all areas of your work.
- Good organisational skills and being able to work on your own initiative
- A mature and responsible attitude
- Excellent hearing and communication skills
- Be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.
Due to the personal care needs of the client, this role is open to female applicants only. This requirement is an occupational requirement as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
