Medical Education Mental Health Support Clinician Position SummaryThe Medical Education Mental Health Support Clinician provides proactive rounding and confidential check”‘ins with residents, fellows, medical students, and other clinical staff across the clinical learning environment. The role delivers brief interventions, triage, and streamlined referrals to behavioral health resources; offers skills coaching (stress management, CBT/MI techniques), and collaborates with the outpatient clinical manager and the Chief Wellness Officer to strengthen resident, fellow, medical students, and staff wellbeing throughout training.

Position Requirements Education
- Master's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field required.
- LCSW-C or LCPC required.
- 2 + years in healthcare or academic medical settings; experience supporting trainees or high-acuity clinical teams; comfort with brief interventions and stepped-care models preferred.
- Familiarity with ACGME environment and trainee needs; trauma-informed care; motivational interviewing; CBT techniques; de-escalation; data tracking for program improvement preferred.
- At Tidal Health, full-time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part-time employees working at least 36 hours per pay period and part-time employees working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
