Project Manager – Engineering Supply Chain

Location: Hybrid working (3 days per week on‑site, Salisbury area)

Security: Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance

This is an opportunity to lead complex, engineering‑led programmes that sit at the forefront of UK defence capability. The work directly supports the design and manufacture of advanced uncrewed aerial systems (UAVs) for military use, operating in a fast‑paced, high‑assurance environment where delivery genuinely matters.

The role takes ownership of end‑to‑end engineering projects within an outsourced supply chain model. You’ll be coordinating specialist partners across people, materials, and capability, managing delivery from print‑to‑qualification through manufacture, integration, and final acceptance. Close collaboration with internal procurement teams and external global suppliers is central to success, requiring confident stakeholder management and the ability to influence across organisational boundaries.

This is a role for someone who enjoys operating at the intersection of engineering, supply chain, and delivery. Where technical credibility, commercial awareness, and strong partner relationships are equally important. We’re looking for a Project Manager with proven experience delivering engineering programmes end to end, particularly within outsourced or partner‑led supply chains. You’ll bring a strong understanding of engineering delivery models such as print‑to‑qualification, along with the ability to manage global suppliers and work closely with procurement functions to balance cost, quality, risk, and schedule.
