Job Title:
Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants

Job Type: Part-time | Full-time Roles Available
Pay Scale: £13–£14 per hour

Teaching Personnel are working closely with several primary schools across the Salisbury area that have a high level of SEN need
. We are seeking experienced, dedicated, and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils within specialist resource bases as well as 1:1 settings outside of the classroom
.

These schools are committed to providing high-quality support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, SEMH, complex learning difficulties, and communication needs. The Role s would require:
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or within a specialist resource base
  • Working closely with SENCOs, teachers, and wider support teams
  • Supporting pupils with personalised learning plans
  • Promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation
  • Providing adapted support to ensure each child can access learning
⭐ We Are Looking For:
  • Previous experience working with SEN in a primary school setting
  • A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
  • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
  • Flexibility to work full-time or part-time depending on school needs
  • A DBS registered on the Update Service (desirable)
    • If you don’t have one, Teaching Personnel can support you in applying for a new DBS.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
