Security Officer - Armed Patrol Officer

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government corrections location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access, contraband activity, and other policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by post.;
Control access at designated posts by verifying identification and/or authorization, monitoring entry and exit points, and screening vehicles, packages, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with on-site staff, providing clear radio communications, and supporting controlled movement and/or accountability when directed.;
Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, preserve observations and available evidence for follow-up, and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.
