What We Offer:

Schedule: PRN, Days, primarily 12 hour shifts 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM with possibility for 8's or 10's

As a PACU RN at Novant Health's Rowan Medical Center, you'll be trusted to deliver expert care across after a range of surgeries. From routine surgeries to complex cases, your clinical skill, judgment, and adaptability will help drive safe, compassionate care where it matters most.

What We're Looking For:
  • Education:
    High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
  • Experience:
    One year relevant experience, preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
    • ENPC, TNCC or CEN; preferred.
    • NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire, required.
What You'll Do:
  • Receive patients from the operating room after surgery
  • Airway management
  • Recover patient, ensuring vital signs are within normal limits and pain is controlled
