1st & 2nd Shift Forklift Operator (MSNC)

Marathon Staffing and a global leading lumber company located at Salisbury N.C. NOW HIRING!!! We are looking for reliable associates who enjoy working OVERTIME, depending on work volume. Below is a short description of the Forklift Operator position that we have available.

Pay: $18 per hour. Experience required! This is a great temp to hire opportunity! Weekly Paychecks!

• Experienced forklift driver and must be able to pass certification.
• Must have good written and verbal skills.
• Must have ability to follow basic directions.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Will wear safety glasses as required.
• Attends and participates in departmental and company safety meetings.
• Assists in maintaining an accident free environment by working safely and helping others to work safely.

• Loading and unloading trucks of filled or empty bins, barrels and bottles.
• Stacking bins as necessary.
• Moving product to and from storage and production areas in bins, barrels, and bottles.
• Performing necessary paperwork required by forklift operators.
• Minimizing damage to equipment and product.
• Forklift inspection and reporting any safety issues to the Supervisor.
• Fills forklift with propane as needed.

• Ability to work in a safe manner.
• Demonstrates ability to follow specific instructions and directions.
• Demonstrate ability to use and operate hand tools.
• Ability to pay attention to surroundings.
• Ability to identify safe MSNC
