Overview
The Production Control Clerk I performs clerical tasks that support production control and ensure the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules.
Essential Functions- Review completed batch records for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation.
- Verify start/end times, charge sheets, equipment inspection checklists, and logs for reactors, flakers, and drumming processes.
- Compute, record, and report batch cycle times and yields.
- Notify production supervisors of documentation inconsistencies or errors.
- Maintain the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) spreadsheet.
- Submit completed batch records to the production planner.
- Assist with compiling data for annual Bill of Materials (BOM) reviews.
- Enter production data and raw material consumption into the ERP system.
- Generate new batch records and picking lists.
- Ability to work 8-hour non-rotating shifts, 5 days per week, and overtime as needed.
- Strong teamwork skills and exceptional attendance.
- Basic math and reading proficiency.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow instructions and multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, including formulas, charts, and pivot tables. >
- Previous administrative experience preferred
Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft AX or SAP preferred).
- This role is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting with standard lighting and ventilation.
- Employees may spend extended periods seated at a desk using a computer, phone, and other office equipment. Ergonomic assessments and adjustments may be provided to support comfort and productivity.
- The role involves minimal physical exertion, though occasional lifting of office supplies or files may be required.
Pay:
From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
